Elephant Traffic Beta Launch
The Elephant Traffic service allows advertisers to utilize its vast portfolio of generic domain names to immediately increase traffic to a company’s website. Advertisers select available domains from verticals appropriate to their product and purchase per-view traffic using a web-based interface. Once an advertiser has booked a domain, consumers are sent directly to the advertiser’s website. Campaigns are set-up with a few clicks of the mouse and monitored in real-time.
Wei-Hai Chu, Elephant Traffic’s CEO, explains: “One of the most surprising things about internet use is that a large number of consumers (12% to be exact) try to find what their looking for by typing in generic keywords like fly.com or laptops.com into their browser address bar, before doing a search. Elephant Traffic gives advertisers the tool they need to reach these people quickly and easily.”
Discussing the direct benefits for advertisers, Commercial Director Daniel Goris says, “What’s so exciting about Elephant Traffic is that we’re able to give advertisers direct access to consumers who are twice as likely to complete an online purchase. We send them to the place that the’re actually looking for. Plus, we are able to do this for less than 70% than typical ad word rates.”
“What we’ve put together offers advertisers a great tool to diversify their online advertising budgets and spend more effectively,” says Goris.
A beta version of the service goes live today. The launch of the final application is scheduled for mid-June.
