Elephant Traffic Official Launch!
Elephant Traffic unveils first online interface for advertisers to capture direct navigation traffic
Direct navigation traffic is 50% more likely to convert and 40% cheaper than PPC
SEPTEMBER 22, 2009 [LONDON] – Elephant Traffic announced today the official launch of their new online service for direct navigation advertising. The service is designed to offer advertisers a new way to optimize online spend by offering a more effective and a lower-cost alternative to existing pay-per-click services.
The Elephant Traffic service allows advertisers to engage in direct navigation advertising, which redirects traffic from other industry specific domains to the advertiser’s site of preference. By utilizing its vast portfolio of domains, Elephant Traffic harnesses the traffic resulting from direct navigation search, which is a method of search using domain names like fly.com or laptops.com in the browser address bar as opposed to using a search engine and keywords. Advertisers select available domains from verticals appropriate to their product and purchase per-visitor traffic using a web-based interface. Once an advertiser has booked a domain, consumers engaging in direct navigation search are routed directly to the advertiser’s website. Campaigns can be set-up with a few clicks of the mouse and monitored in real-time.
Wei-Hai Chu, Elephant Traffic’s CEO, explains, “One of the most surprising things about internet use is that 14% of online searches are done by using direct navigation. Elephant Traffic gives advertisers the ability to capture this highly targeted traffic quickly and easily using a streamlined interface.”
Discussing the direct benefits for advertisers, Commercial Director Daniel Goris says, “What’s so exciting about Elephant Traffic is that we’re able to give advertisers direct access to consumers who are twice as likely to complete an online purchase. Direct navigation search traffic has been neglected till now but our research has shown that it delivers up to 50% higher conversions rates than standard PPC advertising. What we’ve put together offers advertisers a great tool to diversify their online budgets and boost conversion rates.”
Elephant Traffic is pleased to launch as an official partner of ad:tech London and will hold a joint launch event with the conference at the Kensington Roof Gardens on the 22nd of September.
